Frank Edwin (Ed) Wadham died on February 26, 2023 at the age of 98 at the Westman Nursing Home, Virden with family by his side. Ed was born on October 3, 1924 in Maryfield, Saskatchawan, son of Frank and Jennie Wadham. His beloved wife, Hazel Dorothy (nee Curtis) died peacefully March 11, 2023 at the Westman Nursing Home with family by her side. Hazel was born August 1, 1927 near the town of Rivers to George and Gertie Curtis. Hazel was a devoted wife and mother. Her life was Edwin and her family. They were married September 4, 1948 and were blessed with four children: Gilbert, Noreen, Ken and Glen. Ed and Hazel were devoted to their Christian Faith. Ed was a Lay Reader for 50 years serving the Lord at Holy Trinity, Miniota and other parishes in the Diocese, always accompanied by Hazel. Ed served as the Rector’s Warden at Holy Trinity for many years. Hazel was an active member and later president of Miniota Holy Trinity Anglican ACW, and held numerous roles in the Diocese. Ed and Hazel were very active with the youth in the area. Both devoted many years to the Miniota Cubs and Scout organization, to the Oak River District Cub and Scout Organization. Both were involved in the Miniota Home Economics 4-H club for many years. Ed had a passion for music from an early age.  His love for music led Ed and Hazel to old time dances near and far in all kinds of weather. When Ed was not providing the music they were dancing to it.
